This year's chinese new year eve dinner...
Invited CE over yesterday, a chance to add a new dish on top of last year's menu ;)
...steamed fish 'n' chai...
...ho si fatt choy 'n' kwai fa chi...
Ok, it was tung fan instead of sharks fins, with shrimps but no water chestnuts, and the chinese mushrooms were over-marinated *haha... didn't think that was possible really*. Oh, and I couldn't get the eggs to clump nicely. But not bad for a first attempt, no?
*my strange style of cooking -_- the first time experiments always prove tastier than my 2nd or thereafter attempts*
Also made the usual vegetarian dish yesterday and separated into 5 portions this time, 1 as accompaniment for dinner and 1 for my first meal on the 1st day.

Just gonna relax the whole day away.

*took leave again this year :p planning to visit Westfield tomorrow too*
